Accessibility

• Travel by train to Bruges station, which is well connected to cities such as Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp and the coast. From the station, you can walk to Bariseele in about twenty to twenty-five minutes through the historic center or a short bus or taxi ride.

• If you arrive by car, follow the motorways to Bruges and then the ring around the city, from where you drive to the city center via the northern access roads. The Collaert Mansionstraat is located in a quiet part of the center, so it is advisable to check the route and any traffic measures in the city center beforehand.

• Walking and cycling are the most comfortable for traveling within Bruges. Bariseele offers rental bicycles and safe storage, and there are well-marked cycling routes along the vests and canals that connect to longer routes to Damme and the coast.

Parking

Bariseele has a limited number of private parking spaces for cars, which can be reserved upon request. The places are a short distance from the B and B and offer a safe alternative for those who prefer not to leave the car on the street. There is also a secure garage or garage for bicycles and motorbikes, making the property attractive for guests travelling by bike or planning a motorcycle trip through Flemish cities.

In the spacious area of the historic center, there are several public car parks where you can leave the car for a longer period of time. Parking Biekorf, below the city library, is very centrally located within walking distance of the Markt and is a logical choice if you mainly want to walk through the city center on foot. A little further, near the Ezelstraat, is Parking Centrum Ezelstraat, an underground car park along an important access road to the center, with a reasonable walk to the main squares. Both car parks are chargeable and usually also offer places for electric cars.

For those who prefer to park outside the busiest zone, Parking Centrum Station near the train station is an interesting option. From here, you can walk to the edge of the center in about eight minutes and continue by bus to stops closer to the Markt. In addition, there are various park and ride locations on the outskirts of the city, such as P plus R Waggelwater or P plus R Steenbrugge, where you can park your car cheaply or for free and travel further to the center by bus. These peripheral car parks are especially useful during busy weekends or events when the underground car parks in the city center fill up more quickly.

In the city center itself, there is usually paid parking on the street with a time limit. Those who want to stop briefly to drop off luggage at Bariseele can often temporarily park nearby, but for longer stays, a reserved seat at the B and B or a public car park is the most carefree choice. It's worth checking the city's guidelines beforehand, especially if you're traveling with a larger car or electric car.
